Louise M. Heiligenthal, 74, of Belmont, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Manor Care Health Services in Platteville. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Rev. Bill Vasey officiating. Burial will be at Liberty Ridge Cemetery in Lancaster. Friends may call from 9-10:15 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home before the service.
Louise was born on January 13, 1944, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the daughter of Walter and Norma (Levins) Zart. She operated a Christian bookstore in Monroe and worked in customer service at Swiss Colony for many years.
Louise loved camping, fishing, traveling and family gatherings. Memorial Day weekends were spent on camping trips, talking and playing cards. She loved the sound of loon birds and eagles. She also enjoyed working in her garden, the penny slots at the casino, NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers. Her hobbies included crocheting, cross stitch, scrap booking, sodoku and crafts. Louise dearly loved her husband Robert "Pete" Heiligenthal.
Survivors include her sons, Timothy (Charlotte) Dubel, of Chippewa Falls, WI, and Daniel Dubel, of Belmont; a sister, Gale Trewartha, of Hazel Green, two brothers, Larry (Sharon) Zart, of Soldiers Grove, WI, and Bill Zart, of Belmont; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Pete", and her parents.
