Muriel Y. Roberts, 81, of Kieler, Wisconsin, died Friday, December 8, 2017, at home surrounded by her family. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Casey Funeral Home in Cuba City with Rev. Bill Vasey officiating. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery in New Diggings. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Friends may also call from 9-10:15 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home before the service.

Muriel was born on September 23, 1936, in New Diggings, Wisconsin, the daughter of Clarence E. "Bigler" and Winnifred E. (Raisbeck) Teasdale. She married Robert H. "Bob" Roberts on October 27, 1956.

As an oncology nurse at Medical Associates, Muriel spent a lifetime providing the highest level of patient care for friends, family and neighbors. Their health and safety were always first and foremost in her thoughts and actions.

She enjoyed spending time with her many friends. When in their midst, the room would be filled with laughter and mischief. She will be missed by many.

Survivors include her husband, Bob; a daughter, Cynthia A. (Dennis) Birr, of Reedsburg, WI; a son, Doug (Ann) Roberts, of Hartland, WI; three sisters, Phyllis Harwick, of Platteville, Karen Farrey, of Northglenn, GA, and Mary (Jim) Bainbridge, of Benton; a brother, Keith "Whitey" Teasdale, of Galena, IL; four grandchildren, Daniel (Kiersten), David and Michael Birr and Jacob Roberts; and three great-grandchildren, Addison, Finnley and Bennett Birr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Barbara Murray and Sandra Stoney; a brother, Gary (Grace) Teasdale; a sister-in-law, Stella Teasdale; and two brothers-in-law, Jerry Harwick and Carl Farrey.

A Muriel Y. Roberts Memorial Fund has been established.
