Obituary for Randy W. Eggers

Randy W.  Eggers
Cuba City, Wisconsin

Randy W. Eggers, 65, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Sunday, October 22, 2017, at home. Services will be 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2017, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cuba City. Friends may call from 3-5:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Randy was born on December 5, 1951, in Hastings, Minnesota, the son of Dwight E. and Leona (Killian) Eggers. He was a self-employed painter who took pride in his work. Randy attended Cuba City High School where he was a talented basketball and baseball player, graduating in 1970. His love of sports continued throughout his life as he was a youth baseball and basketball coach and an avid Packer and Badger fan. Randy also loved to fish, hunt, and bowl. He especially enjoyed his mother's good food.

Survivors include his children, Matt and Abbey; his mother, Leona C. Eggers, of Cuba City; a sister, Diane (Dick) Gile, of Hazel Green; two brothers, Dwight Jr. "Peanuts" (Donna) Eggers, of Cuba City; and Kim (Mary Jo) Eggers; of Marshall, Wisconsin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Joshua, and his father Dwight Sr.

A Randy W. Eggers Memorial Fund has been established.
