Obituary for Gregory F. "Greg" Cummins

Cuba City, Wisconsin

Gregory F. “Greg” Cummins, 65, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Friday, May 10, 2019, at home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Monday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9-10:15 a.m. Tuesday at the church before the service.

Greg was born on November 23, 1953, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the son of Francis and Marie (Heim) Cummins. He married Sally J. Timmerman on May 17, 1975, at St. Rose of Lima Church. He worked as a master plumber for Collins & Hying, Dodgeville, and Modern Plumbing & Heating, Madison.

Greg was a handyman who was always willing to lend a hand. He loved going to Bagley and boating with his family. Greg was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was known as “Grandpa Greg” to his grandchildren. He was a member of Plumber’s Union Local 75 Wisconsin.

Survivors include his wife, Sally; his children, Tara (Jeremy) Groom, Potosi, Brett (Dawn) Cummins, Cuba City, and Tim (Jamie) Cummins, Hazel Green; his mother, Marie Cummins, Cuba City; his sisters, Vicki (Tom) Kilkelly, Ocala, Florida, Connie (Dave) Klein, The Villages, Florida, Pam (Mike) Schramm, Apple Canyon Lake, Illinois, Patricia (Dan) Ramaker, and Lori (Ron) Wallenhorst, both of Cuba City; and twenty grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Francis.
